Mr. Paredes
Chemistry and geography teacher, San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Secondary School
- Since 2008
- English, Spanish
I teach chemistry at San Jose Secondary School in San Jose since 2008. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Paredes
If you were in my teenagers class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Mr. Paredes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
