For 34 years I was the home economics teacher at San Sebastián Secondary School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Paredes
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Paredes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
