I teach religious studies and environmental science at Pioneer Middle School, Los Angeles. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mr. Paredes: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
