For 23 years I was the English literature teacher at Bayview Primary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Paredes
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
