For 15 years I was the social studies teacher at Baobab Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Papadakis: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
