Mr. Pandya
Chemistry teacher at Mumbai Academy, 1982 to 2007

For 25 years I was the chemistry teacher at Mumbai Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Pandya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Pandya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 1989 at Mumbai Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard! Thank you again.
