For 15 years I have been the history teacher at Campinas Public School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Paiva
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Paiva: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I failed history twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Coyoacán.
