Mr. Padilla
19 years teaching French in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- 1979 to 2002
- English
I taught French at Frangipani Middle School in Los Angeles from 1979 to 2002. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Mr. Padilla: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
