For 34 years I have been the art teacher at Ekurhuleni Girls' School. I teach Grade 8 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 780 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Padayachee
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
