I taught mathematics at Pietermaritzburg Primary School in Pietermaritzburg from 1999 to 2016. Most days I taught Year 10, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Mr. Padayachee
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
