I taught accounting at Baton Rouge Technical College in Baton Rouge from 1984 to 1992. Most days I taught first-year students, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.

If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
