For 48 years I have been the home economics teacher at Curitiba Girls' School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,440 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Pacheco
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Pacheco: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
