For 40 years I have been the social studies teacher at Ashford Technical College. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Öztürk
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1998. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from London.
