Mr. Özkan
Mathematics and chemistry teacher, Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Public School
- 1990 to 2022
- English
For 32 years I was the mathematics teacher at Istanbul Public School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Özkan
If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

What gifts mean to Mr. Özkan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
