For 42 years I have been the early years teacher at Kadıköy Grammar School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Özdemir
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Özdemir: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
