I teach French and drama at Kano Boys' School, Kano. I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 830 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
