Mr. Ouma
Teacher at Kasarani Middle School, loves history
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Middle School
- 2004 to 2023
- English, Swahili
For 19 years I was the history teacher at Kasarani Middle School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Ouma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Ouma: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

You taught me history in 2025 at Kasarani Middle School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on Greetings from Mapo.
