Mr. Otieno
Art and environmental science teacher, Nakuru
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- Northside Public School
- 1987 to 2018
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 31 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,270 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Otieno
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Otieno: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 1993 at Northside Public School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Greetings from Nashik.
