I taught drama and home economics at Tijuana Public School, Tijuana. I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Ortiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ortiz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
