Mr. Ortiz
Retired history teacher from Rosewood Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Rosewood Secondary School
- 2007 to 2021
- English, Spanish
For 14 years I was the history teacher at Rosewood Secondary School. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Ortiz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ortiz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me history in 2009 at Rosewood Secondary School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected. Greetings from Pretoria.

You taught me history in 2014 at Rosewood Secondary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
