Mr. Ortiz
Design and technology and history teacher, San Diego
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- San Diego Girls' School
- Since 1991
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Ortiz
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ortiz: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me design and technology in 2020 at San Diego Girls' School. I still remember that terrible school play. Greetings from Tehuacán.

You taught me design and technology in 2000 at San Diego Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
