Mr. Ortiz
English literature and French teacher, Medellín
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Medellín Secondary School
- 1980 to 1996
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Ortiz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me English literature in 2015 at Medellín Secondary School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly Truly.

you taught me English literature in 1993 at Medellín Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
