Mr. Ortega
Teacher at Birmingham Grammar School, loves computer science
- 🇬🇧 Birmingham, England, United Kingdom
- Birmingham Grammar School
- 1986 to 2020
- English
For 34 years I was the computer science teacher at Birmingham Grammar School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Ortega
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ortega: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me computer science in 2010 at Birmingham Grammar School. I still remember the end-of-term party. Thank you again.

I failed computer science twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Hubballi.
