Mr. Ortega
28 years teaching home economics in San Antonio
- 🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States
- San Antonio Public School
- 1992 to 2017
- English
For 25 years I was the home economics teacher at San Antonio Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Ortega
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
