Mr. Ortega
Teacher at Greenfield High School, loves environmental science
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Greenfield High School
- Since 1992
- English, Spanish
For 34 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Greenfield High School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,870 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Ortega
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me environmental science in 2007 at Greenfield High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard
