Mr. Opio
Physics and geography teacher, Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Boys' School
- 2001 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Opio
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Opio: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me physics in 2008 at Kasarani Boys' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
