I taught economics at Kasarani Secondary School in Kasarani from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 10, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Opio
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Mr. Opio: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
