Mr. Onyeama
English literature and accounting teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Secondary School
- 2016 to 2025
- English, French
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Onyeama
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Onyeama: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
