I taught drama at Gateway Secondary School in Nairobi from 1986 to 2022. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.

What gifts mean to Mr. Onyango: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
