I taught French at Mukono Middle School in Mukono from 1981 to 2008. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Mr. Omondi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
