I taught art at Kyiv Girls' School in Kyiv from 1983 to 2007. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 790 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Mr. Oliynyk: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
