I taught accounting at Good Shepherd Girls' School in New York from 2009 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 480 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Oliver
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
