I teach economics and French at Maple Ridge Boys' School, São Paulo. I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 2,250 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Oliveira
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
