Mr. Olawale
French teacher at Kano Academy, Since 2002

For 24 years I have been the French teacher at Kano Academy. I teach Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 910 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Olawale
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Olawale: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
