I taught history at Elmwood Grammar School in Abuja from 1978 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Olawale
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
