Mr. Olawale

Taught art at Gateway Middle School

🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
Gateway Middle School
1978 to 2011
English, Yoruba

I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mr. Olawale

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
