For eight years I was the history teacher at Lagos Secondary School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
