Mr. Okoro
33 years teaching English literature in Ikeja
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Gateway Middle School
- Since 2003
- English, Igbo
I teach English literature at Gateway Middle School in Ikeja since 2003. Most days I teach teenagers, and I learn every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Okoro
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Okoro: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me English literature in 2011 at Gateway Middle School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won
