Mr. Okonkwo
Economics and special education teacher, Nsukka
- 🇳🇬 Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria
- Lincoln Public School
- 1990 to 2002
- English, Yoruba
For twelve years I was the economics teacher at Lincoln Public School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Okonkwo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your mixed-ability classes class in 2003. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Mbarara.
