Mr. Okonkwo
Teacher at Elmwood Middle School, loves environmental science
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Elmwood Middle School
- 1981 to 2017
- English, Hausa
Elmwood Middle School was my second home. I taught environmental science there from 1981 to 2017, mostly the youngest children.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Okonkwo
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Okonkwo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me environmental science in 2008 at Elmwood Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
