Mr. Okamoto

22 years teaching Spanish in Shinjuku

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Since 2017
  • Japanese, English
I teach Spanish at Shinjuku Secondary School in Shinjuku since 2017. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I play music while people worked. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Okamoto

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Okamoto: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
