Mr. Okafor

37 years teaching Spanish in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Phoenix Boys' School
  • Since 1982
  • English, Yoruba
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 44 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I never turn anyone away. I'm still learning every day.

More about Mr. Okafor

If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the rainy sports day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Okafor: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
