Mr. Ohno
24 years teaching drama in Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- Beacon Primary School
- Since 2001
- Japanese, English
I teach drama and social studies at Beacon Primary School, Shinjuku. My door was open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Ohno
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ohno: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
