Mr. Obrien
18 years teaching mathematics in Buffalo
- 🇺🇸 Buffalo, New York, United States
- Gateway Secondary School
- Since 1995
- English
I teach mathematics at Gateway Secondary School in Buffalo since 1995. Most days I teach Grade 6, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Obrien
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Obrien: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
