I taught social studies at Ciudad de México Grammar School in Ciudad de México from 1991 to 2018. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
