I taught early years at Frangipani Primary School in Los Angeles from 2005 to 2024. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 1,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
