Mr. Nigussie
Physical education and English literature teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Technical College
- 1980 to 2015
- English, Amharic
I taught physical education at Addis Ababa Technical College in Addis Ababa from 1980 to 2015. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Nigussie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
