For 20 years I was the computer science teacher at Pretoria Girls' School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Ngcobo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Ngcobo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
