I taught music at Venice Boys' School in Venice from 1992 to 2013. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
