I teach mathematics at San Francisco Academy in San Francisco since 1998. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Nelson: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me mathematics in 2002 at San Francisco Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Truly.
